Inspector Eddie Golden of Cahir Garda station is advising homeowners to improve security measures with their home heating storage by ensuring tanks are locked and to make sure security lights are working.

He is also asking people to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity in their area, particularly when home heating oil deliveries are taking place.
