US First Lady may visit Moneygall.

There's been no official confirmation as yet, but it's understood Michelle Obama is planning to bring her two girls to visit here, while her husband is in the country on official business.

The US first lady is reportedly planning to accompany her husband next month when he travels to the North for the G8 summit.

Mrs Obama had previously said she would like to bring 14-year-old Malia and 11-year-old Sasha to Moneygall on the Tipperary – Offaly border.

The G8 summit takes place at Lough Erne in Co Fermanagh on the 17th and 18th of June.

Henry Healy, Barack Obama's distant cousin and Moneygall resident, says the village will welcome home the First Lady:
