Motorists passing through the south Tipp village have had to put up with a one-way traffic light system on the centuries old bridge which spans the River Suir after defects were discovered last year.
However local independent councillor Martin Lonergan says the local authority don't have the necessary money.

He has written to both Transport Infrastructure Ireland and the Transport Minister urging them to provide the badly needed funding.
