An undercover operation on behalf of cigarette manufacturer Philip Morris last week found that illicit products could be purchased in Clonmel, Carrick on Suir, Cahir and Tipp Town.
The sting was headed up by former Garda Detective Chief Superintendent Kevin Donohoe and ex-Scotland Yard Chief Inspector Will O'Reilly.

Speaking to Fran Curry on Tipp Today Kevin Donohoe said there are a number of different kinds of illegal cigarettes.
