The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation claims 221 people are on trolleys while a further 56 are in overflow areas of wards.
According to the latest trolley watch report University Hospital Limerick – which covers North Tipperary – is the most overcrowded with 35 people in need of a bed.

South Tipp General in Clonmel has 23 people on trolleys around the Emergency Department or in overflow areas of wards.
