University Hospital Limerick remains the busiest hospital in the country today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, the Dooradoyle hospital, which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare, has 46 patients in need of a bed.

Delays are also being experienced in South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel where 20 patients are waiting on trolleys in the emergency department and overflow areas of wards.
Nationally, the INMO is reporting 461 patients left without a bed today.
