UHL accounts for a fifth of patients on trolleys

Once again more than 100 people who have been deemed ill enough to be admitted to hospital are without a bed at UHL today.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation report 515 patients being cared for on trolleys with University Hospital Limerick accounting for 102 of them.

TUH in Clonmel has 6 patients without a bed while 3 people are on trolleys at Nenagh Hospital.
