UHL accounts for 1-in-3 of total Trolley Watch figure

University Hospital Limerick remains severely overcrowded this afternoon.

According to latest INMO figures, there are 49 people there on trolleys – a third of the national total of 148.

There remains no confirmed cases of Covid-19 on site at either UHL or South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel.

There are 543 reported cases in the county; however that figure has remained unchanged since July 6th.
