Two people have been arrested in the UK on suspicion of manslaughter after an 11 month-old baby was mauled to death by a dog.
Ava Jayne Marie Corless was in bed at a house in Blackburn when she was savaged by an American pitbull-type dog yesterday.

It's understood the baby's mother and her boyfriend are being questioned.
Police say the animal has been destroyed.
