1 kilo of cocaine was seized last Wednesday night on the outskirts of Tipperary town when a car was stopped and searched.
It's estimated that the drugs have a street value of 80 thousand euro.

35 year old JJ Hayes, and 21 year old Simone Hannon, both with an address of Glen Court, Emly appeared in Nenagh District court charged with possession and possession with intent to supply.
Both were granted bail to appear in court again at a later date.
