TUSLA facing 3 investigations over whistleblower controversy

The head of TUSLA was unable to answer specific questions at an Oireachtas committee today after revealing it was contacted by the Charleton Tribunal yesterday. 

But Fred McBride did go on to say he had no evidence of malice of intent by any member of staff at the agency.

Children's Minister Katherine Zappone has also ordered a HIQA review of TUSLA. 

And CEO Fred MCBride says they'll also be engaging with a probe by the Data Protection Commissioner.
