Turkey’s President has sacked seven thousand police officers, military officials and academics as he marks the first anniversary of the failed coup against him.
More than 100-thousand people have been jailed or dismissed from their jobs in the last 12 months, as part of a huge purge of President Erdogan’s opponents.
