Trump shrugs off criticism of tax affairs

Donald Trump says he has “brilliantly used” US tax laws to benefit his investors and staff. 

The US presidential nominee is under pressure over claims he may have legally avoided paying federal tax for nearly two decades.

The billionaire's also facing issues with his charitable trust – The Trump Foundation.

It's been ordered to stop fundraising in New York – with the state's attorney general accusing it of not being properly registered there.

However, Mr Trump has shrugged off criticism of his tax affairs.
