US President Donald Trump has fired the director of the FBI.
It’s apparently over his handling of the inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s emails.
The White House says James Comey ‘has been terminated and removed from office’.
But Democrats say he was sacked because he was leading the investigation into alleged links between Russia and the Trump election campaign.
The surprise move has led to allegations of a cover up.
