According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 25 people waiting for a bed at South Tipperary General Hospital.
18 of these are on trolleys and chairs around the Emergency Department while 7 are being cared for on a ward though are still without a bed.

There's a similar situation at University Hospital Limerick which serves North Tipperary.
The INMO report 26 people waiting for a bed at the Dooradoyle facility while nationally 429 patients who have been admitted from ED's are without a bed today.
