Two rail lines serving Tipperary are restarting this morning after Irish Rail stopped them because of COVID-19.

The Waterford-Limerick Junction and Limerick-Ballybrophy services were suspended at the end of March.

It had been feared that they would never resume.

However, Irish Rail has announced that the full service is being restored today.
