72 towns and villages, including an area in Tipperary, will get new or enhanced bus services, with the first of those kicking off this Sunday.
The plan includes a first-ever link between Cashel and Limerick City, which includes a direct service to the University of Limerick.

It means Limerick will be connected to Ballybunion, Mitchelstown, Scariff and Cashel.
