Since then design team have made changes to take account of results from site surveys including geotechnical investigations, topographical surveys and environmental surveys as well as landowner engagement.

Within Tipperary Town, new streets incorporating active travel infrastructure are proposed to help divert traffic away from Main Street.

The Cathaoirleach of the Tipperary – Cahir – Cashel Municipal District says he is very impressed by the progress being made following this morning’s briefing.

He says all going well the project should break ground in mid-2028
