Public transport is ‘non-existent’ for the rural communities in Tipperary.
That’s the view of Councillor Máirín McGrath who raised the issue at this week’s meeting of the Tipp-Cahir-Cashel Municipal District asking for a new stop at Kilmoyler between Bansha and Cahir.
This service would need TII approval before it is created but it would provide transport for the hundreds of people living on the 13km stretch between the two bus stops.
The Independent representative says although the new Local Link service is good, it needs a some changes.
