The popular hiking spot of Galtymore has received national recognition for its trails and scenery.
The Tipperary peak has been named as Irish Mountain of the Year in the 2020 Ireland Walking Awards, following almost 1,200 surveys from walkers across the country.
Curracloe in Wexford won the Beach of the Year award, while Clear Island in Cork won Irish Island of the Year.
