Rock of Cashel third most popular OPW attraction last year

Over 365,500 people visited the Rock of Cashel last year.

It was the third most popular ticketed heritage site in the county in 2024.

Dublin Castle attracted 727,000 followed by Kilkenny Castle with 430,000.

The Rock of Cashel figures were up over 8,200 on 2023.

Cahir Castle welcomed over 87,000 people through the gates last year, 61,500 went to Hore Abbey in Cashel, The Swiss Cottage in Cahir had nearly 18,300 while 15,000 visitors were recorded at Roscrea heritage and grounds,

Over 13.8 million visitors attended Office of Public Works managed sites in 2024.
