A local election candidate for the Nenagh area has highlighted the importance of tourism for the region.
John “Rocky” McGrath wants to see tourism in North Tipp exploited to its full potential.

Mr McGrath ran for election at the last ballot five years ago, though, he was unsuccessful in gaining a seat.
Speaking on Tipp Today this morning, the Newport man felt the opportunities were there to exploit Tipp’s scenery.
