The Office of Public Works has confirmed that it will continue the initative as part of efforts to encourage the public to visit the country's historical locations.
There are several sites in Tipperary that are included in the list, these include: the Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Roscrea Castle, Damer House and the Swiss Cottage.

The scheme has been running since 2011 and last year, around 70 thousand visitors viewed the sites as part of the initiative.
