Tipp/Offaly business included in EPA list for environmental failures

An Industrial site on the Tipp Offaly border is one of eight included in the current National Priority List for enforcement by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Their inclusion is due to failure to meet necessary environmental standards.

T and J Standish in Roscrea has again been included for breaches in environmental standards following complaints made to the Agency, having also featured in its previous list.

All complaints to the EPA were in relation to noise, odour or dust.

Arrabawn in Nenagh is one of four sites that have now come off the list after being named previously.

Their removal follows improvements in compliance.
