Tipperary’s two new Councillors will be known later

We will know the names of both of Tipperary’s two new Councillors later tonight.

Over the weekend Fianna Fail chose new Tipp North TD Ryan O’Meara’s brother JP to replace him on the local authority.

Fine Gael are holding a selection convention at the Raheen House later tonight to choose between three candidates to replace Michael Murphy.

Tom Acheson, Joe Leahy and Brid Green have all put their names forward.
