Tipperary Venue entrepreneur reports major increase in pre-tax profit

The man behind plans for the multi-million Euro Tipperary Venue has reported significant profits from one of his other business ventures.

Thurles native Richard Quirke's company Dublin Pool & Juke Box Ltd. recorded a 45% increase in pre-tax profits last year to €2.2 million.

Its gross-profit rose by 19% from €5.5 to €6.8 million in the 12 months to the end of June last year.

A revised planning application for the Tipperary Venue was lodged with North Tipperary County Council earlier this month
