Tipperary TD calls for a better system of reviewing medical cards.

The comments from Independent Michael Lowry come amid claims that thousands of medical cards have been taken off people in Tipperary. 

The Government is coming under intense scrutiny over the withdrawal of discretionary medical cards – the HSE has admitted it has't communicated well with some holders.

Deputy Lowry says that uncertainty over the issue is causing fear among more vulnerable members of the community.
