Tipperary set to hit the ground running on Social Housing Strategy

Tipperary County Council appears well placed to make the most of funding under the Social Housing Strategy which was recently announced by the Environment Minister.

The issue was raised during a briefing on the plans at this weeks meeting of Tipperary County Council.

Director of Services Clare Curley outlined how prepared the local authority is to hit the ground running when funding becomes available.

Councillor Tom Wood had expressed concerns that Tipperary might lose out on much needed housing starts but says his fears have been allayed.
