Tipperary Senator clarifies decision not to attend party think-in.

A Tipperary based Senator has defended his decision not to attend the Labour Party Parliamentary gathering at an upmarket hotel.

Denis Landy says the location at Carton House in Maynooth was not appropriate given the current financial climate and he therefore decided not to attend.

The Carrick on Suir public representative is confident the decision would not have any long term impact on his position within the party.
