A UCD-based scientist from Tipperary has just been awarded €2 million from the EU to explore the relation between diet and health.
The prestigious and much sought-after grant was assigned to Dr. Lorraine Brennan under the EU/Horizon 2020 research fund.

Dr. Brennan, who is from Upperchurch, says the funding will help to establish what type of diet is best for human development.
