Tipperary native to be honoured in U.S

A Tipperary native and bar and  restaurant owner in   New York City, and Harbor Hill  Rockland County is be honoured in the U.S next Saturday.
Jimmy Lyons originally from Grangemockler is to be honoured at  the Tipperary Hurling Club annual banquet in Eastchester this Saturday.
Jimmy left for the states n 1984  to play hurling for Tipperary in Gaelic Park.
He returned to New York the following year  because of the recession in Ireland at the time and stayed for good. He joined the Tipperary hurling club when he arrived and attributes the club with his success in sport and business life.
