Tipperary man sought by British Authorities

A County Tipperary man is being sought by the British authorities on a number of charges.

The High Court in Dublin was told that the extradition is being sought of Aidan O'Dwyer of Kilnamanagh Court, Clonoulty.

The 39 year old is alleged to have stolen nearly £4,500 along with 300 £1 scratch cards from his employer in East Sussex.

The theft charges date back to 2009.

Aidan O'Dwyer was arrested on Monday at his residence on foot of a European arrest warrant.

He was remanded in custody with consent to bail – the case will return to the High Court early next month.
