Tipperary man in court again on burglary charges

A Tipperary man charged in connection with a burglary at the home of three elderly siblings has been remanded on bail.

William Gammell of An Cuirt, Monard is charged with burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle.

74 year old Willie Creed and his sisters Nora aged 72 and 66 year old Chrissie were in their house near Pallasgreen when the burglary happened on May 31st.

William Gammell is also charged in connection with an aggravated burglary at another house in Pallasgreen.

Yesterday, Limerick District Court heard the 27 year old had yet to take up bail granted by the High Court on July 23rd. His wife Teresa Gammell then lodged an independent surety of €2,500 at the District Court.
