The birthplace of the GAA is one of several Tipperary properties set to go under the hammer today in the latest Allsops Auction.
A total of five lots from across the Premier County go up for auction today at the RDS in Dublin.
First up of the Tipperary lots is an expansive portfolio of modern office and warehouse units contained in the Ard Gaoithe Business Park on the Cashel Road, Clonmel which has a guide price of up to €790,000.
If that's a little out of your price bracket then there's also a site outside Tipp Town with a reserve of €45 thousand and another piece of land in Portland, Lorrha which is the €10,000 range.
The priciest Tipp property is the building that currently houses the AIB at 14 Liberty Square Thurles but its another building in the town that’s likely to generate the most interest – the iconic Hayes Hotel.
There had been calls for the GAA to purchase the building but HQ ruled this out and the 30 bed hotel now goes under the hammer today with a guide price of half a million Euro.
