Robert O'Shea from Littleton does not believe there is an innocent explanation, as the drones were spotted, with a red light, flying at night-time.

He says this means they were recording on a night-vision camera.

The Tipperary man says it was his 25-year-old son who spotted the drone over his farm.

“I heard over his head and looked up and saw this red dot flying along and followed the track and it went down and hovered over my farm yard and took off again” he said.

“(It was) about 9.30 to 10 o'clock at night”.

“And…the local garage owner had witnessed it the week before – and this was also noticed in another village, Two-Mile Borris…three weeks before that, a few people over there noticed it” he added.
