Michael Dwyer from Ballinderry was shot dead by Bolivian special police forces in April 2009.

The authorities claimed that he was armed and involved in a shoot-out with police however independent forensic evidence does not support this claim.

Michael Dwyer's mother Caroline says the U.N. has the power to press for an enquiry into her son's killing.
