A North Tipperary Councillor is advising Ulster Bank customers to make a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman

Sinn Fein's Seamie Morris says Ulster Bank customers in Tipperary have been treated with utter contempt over the last few weeks.

He claims the bank has put its Irish customers to the back of their list in terms of resolving this latest crisis.

His own account is now beginning to show some signs of activity but the only activity is withdrawals with at least four lodgements in cyberspace.

Councillor Morris feels the only way that Ulster Bank will learn that they cannot take their customers in Tipperary for granted is if enough people lodge an official complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.
