Schools right across Tipperary have benefited from the annual Summer Works Scheme.
The grants from the Department of Education and Skills will allow them to carry out essential works during the summer holidays.

Deputy Michael Lowry has welcomed the funding which will ease some of the burden on Boards of Management who are constantly trying to raise funds for the day to day running of schools.
