Plans for a significant expansion of a 3rd level education facility in Carrick on Suir have been lodged with Tipperary County Council.
The proposals from Tipperary ETB are for the Further Education and Training Centre at Greenside in the town.

The extension would be to the rear of the building with car parking and new access.
If approved this would increase student numbers from 220 to 350 and staff numbers from 35 to 45.
A decision is due from the local authority towards the end of May.
