The total number on the local authority is down to 38 after two got elected to the Dáil in the general election.
Michael Murphy and Ryan O’Meara spent their first day in the Dáil yesterday after winning seats in the general election in Tipperary South and North respectively.

Former Cllr Tom Acheson will take Michael Murphy’s place after winning a Fine Gael selection Convention.
