Ten week road closure for works on bridge near Clonmel

A crossing over the River Suir near Clonmel will be closed from the middle of next month until the end of August.

Tipperary County Council will be carrying out repair works at Sir Thomas’ Bridge from Monday June 16th at 7.30am until 6.30pm on Thursday August 28th.

The L-6513 road from its junction with Ferryhouse to the junction with R680 will be closed.

All traffic will be diverted via the R680 Clonmel to Carrick-on-Suir Road or the N24 Clonmel to Carrick on Suir.

However local access will be maintained.
