Strong criticism of graffiti at Nenagh playground

Swastikas, racial slurs and obscene drawings are among the graffiti that have appeared at a popular Tipperary playground.

Vandals have targeted St Paul’s playground in Nenagh.

Cllr JP O’Meara says the offensive material is on a wall beside where the smaller children play.

Tipperary County Council says the graffiti will be covered up.

Art students at Nenagh College had already started to paint murals there before the area was defaced.

And it’s planned that they will finish their project as soon as possible.
