Ryan: Lowry needs to deliver on Thurles by-pass

A Thurles Councillor is calling on the three new TDs for Tipperary North to ensure the town gets it by-pass.

A delegations of local representatives was again told at a meeting with Transport Infrastructure Ireland that the project cannot go ahead unless a political decision is made to get it included on the National Development Plan when it is reviewed next year.

Labour say they will not be pursuing government formation talks any further but Ryan O’Meara’s Fianna Fail are set to be part of the next coalition.

And Cllr Jim Ryan says Independent Michael Lowry is in a great position to push the By-pass in government negotiations.
