Tipperary County Council has made significant progress with its plans for village clusters across the county.

The proposals would allow people to build their own home on half acre sites in small developments on the outskirts of villages adding new life to the area.

Council land in Templetuohy and Kilsheelan are currently being proposed for such clusters.

Senior Planner Brian Beck says the Kilsheelan plans in particular are progressing well.
