A new council initiative will see the 13 roundabouts in the Clonmel/Cahir district given facelifts.
So far the Carrigeen and Toberaheena roundabouts have been upgraded – with the Carrigeen roundabout sporting a horse racing fence while a well has been added to the Toberaheena roundabout.
The initiative will see similar road sculptures erected on other roundabouts across the town – with each sponsored by a business.
Local Fine Gael councillor Michael Murphy says he hopes the scheme will roll out across the county.
