Nenagh Councillors to meet Department of Defence on Military Barracks site

The Government and the Department of Defence have a key role to play in the future on the Military Barracks in Nenagh.

The property has slowly fallen into disrepair over the years with concerns about the safety of the site.

Among the proposals put forward for the Barracks on Summer Hill has been to convert it into much needed housing.

Labour TD Alan Kelly has arranged a meeting for July 1st next where local Municipal District members can meet with officials from the Department of Defence which owns the site.
