Tipperary councillors will be attending their first workshop today to begin discussions on next year’s budget for the local authority.
All five Municipal Districts across the county approved their draft budgets and General Municipal Allocations last month.

But considerable concerns were raised at three of the meetings that ongoing inflation would mean services will have to be cut back.
Tipperary County Council Finance Director Mark Connolly has warned that there could be tough decisions that need to be made.
He says the workshops are about making sure the money they have is spent right.
