Recruitment of library staff in Tipperary is due to get underway shortly.
A number of concerns had been raised about opening hours of the facility in Tipperary town in particular, and a committee was formed.
Locals had asked that the library be open on Saturday’s.
Damien Dullaghan, Tipperary County Librarian, says recruitment should improve services across the county.
