Tackling rural decline and the revitalisation of urban centres are among the main priorities of the new Cathaoirleach of the Nenagh Municipal District.
Fianna Fail’s John Carroll was unanimously elected to the position at the monthly meeting of the North Tipp council
He was proposed and seconded by fellow Cllrs Mattie Ryan and Fiona Bonfield.
Cllr John Carroll says he’s delighted to have been chosen and has a detailed plan for his time in the chair.
