A local councillor is threatening not to support Tipperary County Council’s Budget for next year unless more money can be found for road maintenance.
The elected representatives are having a last workshop with officials this morning ahead of the local authority’s full Budget meeting on Friday.

Fianna Fail’s John Carroll says there hasn’t been an increase in funding for the upkeep of the county’s road network in ten years despite the rising inflation.
He says he’ll be making his demand in no uncertain terms.
